Principals' Background

Patrick Harkins, CEO of Anchor Business Advisors, Inc. has had substantial experience as a consultant and auditor with a large national CPA firm. After 5 years of progressive experience, he became a Vice President & CFO with a manufacturing client and directed a leveraged buyout of the shareholder group. After successfully implementing the strategic plan and stabilizing cash flow, Pat Harkins was elevated to the Board of Directors and given additional operating responsibilities. After seven years with this company, he was recruited by a national search firm to assume the role of Sr. Vice President & CFO of a large electronics and software company. In this position, he directed the merger activity of the firm and helped consolidate several previous acquisitions. He served as the Chairman of the Senior Management Committee and had profit and loss responsibility for the most profitable division. Several years ago, Pat Harkins with over 25 years experience in the Merger & Acquisition field, started his own firm to meet the needs of the middle market entrepreneur.

This strategic alliance with Chris and his firm expands the service offerings of Anchor Business Advisors, Inc. While in the process of growing a company and maximizing the exit value, our clients can obtain intelligent marketing planning and feedback while building products, market share or cultivating core brands. They can evaluate and measure the impact and efficacy of various alternatives. Chris Lambrecht founded Intelligent Marketing Solutions (IMS) in 1997 when he became aware of the need for marketing and advertising expertise in companies that could not justify a full time marketing executive. Additionally, he saw that it was very difficult for most companies to obtain reasonably priced creative services without a lengthy and costly learning curve. Prior to his consulting experience, Chris has been a senior executive in a B2B international advertising agency, Director of Marketing & Sales at Porex Technologies, a leading specialty plastics manufacturer, and worked for Corning Glass Inc. in numerous sales, manufacturing and marketing management roles.

While at Porex Technologies, Chris was personally responsible leading the division’s sales and marketing department of 52 people, growing sales from under $3MM to over $15MM in ten years. Other specific markets that Chris has had direct experience with include: OEM machine and product design, robotics, machine tool, packaging, medical diagnostics, scientific supplies and equipment, pulp & paper, automotive, business software, building and construction, oil & gas, and numerous others.

Chris received his B.S. of Management Sciences from Case Western Reserve University , Cleveland , Ohio , and has completed extensive executive-level programs including Strategic Marketing Planning and Advanced Strategic Planning at the University of Michigan Business School.

Chris has served on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Ad Club, the Fayette County Recreation Board, the Southern Land Preservation Trust, and the Technology Marketing Association of TAG. He is currently a member of TEC and the Pro Growth Forum.
