Has had substantial experience as a consultant and auditor with a large national CPA firm. After 5 years of progressive experience, he became a Vice President & CFO with a manufacturing client and directed a leveraged buyout of the shareholder group. After successfully implementing the strategic plan and stabilizing cash flow, Pat Harkins was elevated to the Board of Directors and given additional operating responsibilities. After seven years with this company, he was recruited by a national search firm to assume the role of Sr. Vice President & CFO of a large electronics and software company. In this position, he directed the merger activity of the firm and helped consolidate several previous acquisitions. He served as the Chairman of the Senior Management Committee and had profit and loss responsibility for the most profitable division. Several years ago, Pat Harkins with over 25 years experience in the Merger & Acquisition field, started his own firm to meet the needs of the middle market entrepreneur.
Mr. Harkins has also been active in the National and State Associations of Business Brokers. With respect to the Georgia Association of Business Brokers (GABB), Patrick has served on the Board of Directors for eight years leading the organization as President and for two years and serving as Vice President for two years helping outline strategy for the future. He was also recipient of their most prestigious awards including: Agent of the Year, Top 5 Producer, Multi-Million Dollar Producer and Lifetime Million Dollar Club Member.
Dr. Harkins graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame before going on to medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Harkins next completed a 6-year plastic surgery residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa. In addition to his hands-on training, Dr. Harkins has also participated in a number of academic research studies on topics that include breast reconstruction after mastectomy. During his residency, Dr. Harkins completed additional training in reconstructive surgery, microsurgery, and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Harkins is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a distinction awarded only to those plastic surgeons who have completed rigorous training in plastic surgery. During his education, Dr. Harkins was a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Established in 1902, Alpha Omega Alpha honors high educational achievement, exceptional teaching, and a commitment to providing quality care to all. Dr. Harkins is also a Gold Star recipient for service from the Tampa Veterans Administration.
A native of Atlanta, Jim White graduated from Georgia State University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Mr. White worked in the corporate business world for over 20 years. While doing so, he held progressively greater management roles with major companies. Mr. White purchased the assets of a moderately successful fire sprinkler contractor whose emphasis was on the installation of fire sprinkler systems. After several years of maintaining the existing business model while producing only average results, he strategically repositioned the company so that it generated a recurring revenue stream from service and inspections. All of the add on work generated by the inspections enabled the Company to realize their target margins and substantially more profits for the Company. This business model proved to be very successful. After owning the company for over 16 years, Mr. White chose to exit business ownership after maximizing the value of the firm by selling the assets of the company to another entity.
Mr. Domenico joined the firm in 1990 and practices extensively in the areas of products liability defense, commercial and business litigation, and general litigation. Mr. Domenico also has extensive experience as a business lawyer in assisting start up and existing businesses. In addition, Mr. Domenico has broad experience in alternate forms of dispute resolution including arbitration and mediation. Mr. Domenico serves as the firm’s managing partner.
Mr. Domenico was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, on April 29, 1963. Mr. Domenico received a B.A., cum laude, from the University of the South in 1985. He attended the University of Georgia School of Law where he received a J.D., cum laude, in 1988. Mr. Domenico is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa honorary fraternities. He belongs to the Atlanta and American Bar Associations, the State Bar of Georgia, and the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Domenico is active in a number of civic organizations and is a member of the 1995 class of Leadership DeKalb and the Rotary Club of Dunwoody.
