Our firm originally engaged Pat Harkins and Anchor Business Advisors to help negotiate the stock repurchase of a major international supplier. To that end, Pat and his firm provided timely counsel on market values of comparable firms and arranged competitive financing terms with two institutions to finance the buy back of our international partner and concurrently arranged adequate working capital lines to finance future growth. After completing this transaction, I asked Pat Harkins to join our Board of Directors and help us plot our strategic path for growth. In this role, he has utilized his extensive senior management background to provide sage advice on corporate planning, alteration of the tax structure of the existing entity, as well as ideas in succession and estate planning.
